He got his doctor degree in engineering from Technical University of Munich, Germany after having studied at Seoul National University and then Hamburg University. Since 1980, he has been working at the Department of Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering, Seoul National University as professor.
He served Korea Association of Ocean Science & Technology and Society of Naval Architects of Korea as president as well as Korea Institute of Marine Science & Technology as the chairman of director’s board. |
